Get to know Samie
Samantha “Samie” Perkins is a loan officer. She is a graduate of Wellston High School. She graduated from nursing school, but ultimately fell in love with banking and decided to take her career in a different direction. She now has nine years of experience in the banking industry. She described the bank’s Community First mission as being the best part of OVB.
In her community of Wellston, Samie is involved in many projects. She currently serves as vice president of the Wellston Main Street Organization. She also is a frequent volunteer for Compel Ministries, which hosts many community projects, including an annual school supply drive and Thanksgiving dinner giveaways for folks in need.
Samie spends her free time attending her
son’s sporting events. When her family isn’t on the field or court, Samie
enjoys going to concerts, traveling, and burying her nose in a good book.
